The Bee Well Project

The Bee Well Project in conjunction with The Golden Drop Honey is a signature initiative of Melanated Melon designed to uplift families impacted by childhood cancer and educate our community on the vital role of pollinators. Through this program, we:

• Gift local honey to our neighbors and families experiencing the effects of pediatric cancer as a symbol of sweetness, strength, and natural healing

• Host community workshops on the health benefits of honey, the importance of pollinators, and the basics of beekeeping

• Sell and distribute honey products to raise funds for our wellness programs and family support services

• Offer educational activities for youth, schools, and local organizations to foster environmental stewardship and curiosity

• Collaborate with local beekeepers to support sustainable pollination and promote agricultural equity
